When designing hearing aids, one must constantly be up-to-date on technological development. We are constantly working on making more complex algorithms work in a device that is physically getting smaller and smaller. This means that you are constantly learning and must challenge yourself and each other.
I am involved in the entire process of developing a new hearing aid. That begins with the initial decisions about the architecture and ends with the final product being released. It gives a great sense of ownership and joy to see that decisions made early in a project can improve the quality of life for many people around the world.
